Apparently I sound much better when I sing pre-tune up since no one makes fun of me, shames me in public or shakes their head angrily at me BEFORE we go to audiology.
Afterwards however, this is what I get...
...and this is when I was singing just like Beyonce. Nope, no more ear tune ups if they make me sound this bad...

I tried to post something to you but didn't have any luck, so maybe this will work. A friend of mine who's son has Goldenhar recently pointed out that my 8 year old daughter has almost all of the physiological manifestations of the syndrome. I am concerned about the statistics involving the heart and spine which are two areas I was already concerned about. She will see a geneticist in Oct. and I was wondering if you have any advice before we meet with her. Jia is already most likely fscing an explantation/re implantation sometime in the near future. Her surgery is complicated and invloves spinal shunts and days in a constant care unit. I wouldn't let them touch her if it wasn't so apparent that she cherishes her hearing. Carol, sorry, just getting back to you-I would just prepare yourself for all kinds of little things to be pointed out about your child. I had no idea they would tell me his nipples were a little too far apart, or that his cute little cry (mouth dropped over to one side only when crying) was gonna all add together to become a syndrome. His cute little curled pinky fingers that curled in just like his Daddy's...I mean everything! But I understand about the cherished hearing, Gage is the same way. Even with as many surgeries and as many problems he's had, he still loves to hear.But also remember that all of us w/diagnosed syndromes are used to having things picked out for us so we might tend to do this as well. I'd be interested to know what you find out.
