Hey, that's really cool. I'm not from AL, so I'm not familiar with the news segment or the contest, but that's one of the few times I've seen a cochlear kid on t.v. talking about something other than cochlear implants. :) Great PR to show that he's just a normal kid - though really, quite the extraordinary one with his talent for mechanics! No disrespect for professional mechanics, but I think you should encourage him to pursue a future in engineering.
