Deaf child hears noises from classroom while she's in the cafeteria...

Brook had a funny thing happen to her yesterday, while her teacher was out with strep throat she probably got from Brooklyn Brook had a substitute teacher (who aren't as familiar w/FM mics). The mic was accidentally left on while they went to the lunchroom...Brook heard a loud noise come from her classroom so she alerted the teacher, "The microphone is still on and I heard something loud in the classroom!" The teacher asked B if she wanted to go turn it off and B agreed. Brook said when she entered the classroom, one chair was knocked over so she knew what the loud noise was. She picked it up and went back to lunch. Likely a student walked into the class to put a note down or something and knocked it over and didn't pick it up...lol
that was the latest turtle she had to say goodbye to

lol My little girl went to the bathroom one day and the teacher forgot to turn off the mic. Olivia came back into the classroom giggling. She said "I heard everything you said!"

I know right now in middle school_correction HIGH SCHOOL i dont have those issues b/c i carry it w/ me but in elementary school i cant count the isssues i had with it.I only have a hearing aid in my right ear but still. My latest FM issue was the nurse. We got a new nurse(the beloved 1 is on maternetiey leave)who loves to leave early before my FM is back there. That is why there is an addtional charger in the principal's office. At least i dont have to deal w/ her now cuz im on to the crazy world of HS but back with S. the only ever kid i have met w/ a hearing loss.(he is a grade ahead of me)
