Just a reminder if you haven't read the second article on Chronicles of an Extreme ENT, click here for that Bama Ears article. We had a great time, I have lots of stories to tell but you know me, it'll take several posts to get them all out of my head, and I only took 188 pictures this weekend. Here's a few to get you started. I will tell you, I have a couple of advocates now. The word cochlear implants only came out of MY mouth once and I'll get to that, but my little deaf awareness/ci awareness kiddos spoke to many about them. More on that when I get settled in.

Glad your back I was away this weekend also b ut kept checking to see if there was a new blog post by you. I tell you those are beautiful pictures!!!
hey, didn't know you went away?? where did you go?? pictures sure look beautiful!!!!! glad you had a nice time, can't wait to hear more....
GREAT pictures (and love the new Title picture....Children of the Corn has a whole new meaning :)
The picture of the kids walking in the water wearing their implants made me chuckle. I would definitely NOT let Trey do that. His implant would be floating (or sinking) faster than I could yell NO!
I am totally jealous that you went to the beach! Looks like a wonderful time!!!
lol, the processors are securely taped on! Trust me, or I'd never allow them to even look at water w/them on, and also, those who know me personally know that I do refer to my kids as "children of the corn" (in the most loving way, lol) all the time and my husband calls them "sensory overloads"....just little pets names we have for them *smile*
