Deaf child eludes jail time

Okay, what a night...Gage decides to call 911 as a joke (again) and the police decide to come this time. Talk about a nervous seven year old, he thought he was going to jail. Brook, screamed as they pulled up..."tell 'em no!! mama!" as she too was convinced he was headed to the slammer!! He wrote them a note that won them over.

and the best part was: we were never questioned because our child was fully able to speak for himself, so that left no question w/his trembling voice...that he was truly sorry!

LOL, I have similar memories at the same age, except I couldn't hear waht the operator said. I'm sure he'll never do it again. :)

That is HYSTERICAL (only because Jake has done it twice as well). The second time he had to get on the phone and have a long chat all about 911 and what it is for. I wish they would have come out- he would have been every bit the sobbing mess that Gage was.

Made my day (poor Gage, and poor mom)

My cousin did the same thing, had a fire truck stop by his house. He was watching "911" or "Rescue" show so he went ahead dial 911 to see what it was like.

His dad took him to the fire station to have him apologize to all the firemen.

Now here's my story, when the i711 relay service first came out few years ago and I started to use it regularly....then for some reason I dialed 911 instead, had a cop at my door in few min. Problem solved right away, whew.

Try sending that tape to American's Funniest Tape, win some bucks.
