Is she supposed to do this?

She don't let the fact that she just turned four, or the fact that she's profoundly deaf wearing cochlear implants stop her any! I've recently discovered she is really good at verbal math problems, no visuals were given. We both in fact are very sick, but we always make time for a few "lessons". I don't know how she does it...yet, she rarely uses fingers and it can't be coincidence, she's very consistent! Here she is.

That is terrific! Your kids are doing so awesome. I love seeing and hearing them.

I started a new blog to flashback to Riley's journey and talk about where we're headed. It's called Sound Check Mama. :-)

Have a great day!

Why can't she say a whole sentence
instead of one word? Deaf children
who can sign can do it.

the questions I'm asking (if you read them) are one word answers. I'm not in competition and I'm sorry you feel as though it is or feel threatened by a four year old. Grow up!

Awesome!! Your kids are so inspiring, and Brook is both adorable and brilliant.

*laughing* I'm trying to imagine why 'anonymous' would want your child to give numeric answers to math questions in the form of full sentences. Maybe that would be a convoluted way of testing mom's comprehension, too. Very tricky.
