So I'm on the computer and I notice how quiet Brooklyn is...fearing that she's just colored on my walls as usual, I jump up to find my little sweet girl has just given her doll an implant, complete w/belt for the controller and everything. Some of her babies are hearing and some are not. She informed me that it was not an implant but a hearing aid "just like me when I was a baby". She recently saw a video of her when she was an infant.

The next time you head to the audiologist, see if there's some spare parts and you can attach them to the dolls. :)
EXCELLENT IDEA, she just whipped out the toy processor we got from Cochlear, you can even buy them online at the Cochlear store, she used tape and everything. I used to have to draw them on, didn't even cross my mind to ask the audiologist.
I just to try to draw a hearing aid on my barbies!

Oh that's just too cute! My aunt likes to knit, and she's knitted all of her neices their own teddy bears... but mine was different from the others, as she had knitted a pair of hearing aids for my bear. I always thought that was just too neat. And the hearing aids were removeable too. Of course, we've had cats that enjoyed chewing on these hearing aids so she's had to make new ones from time to time.
